i’ve told myself to slow down on dolls. i’m looking for someone who would be willing to sell the clothes+shoes+accessories of dolls for a decent price so that i can stop buying dolls. it’s a terribly long shot but if anyone out there would like to do that i’d be thrilled.

Hooray, my new Fashionary memo pads just arrived!

Fashionaries are these awesome books which have a really faint dotted outline of bodies to help you draw fashion designs, which is perfect for me because I suck at drawing things in proportion. The books also have a section at the from with all this great info on fashion and sewing.

I originally bought the A4 book versions pictured  in both men and womens, and a kids version of the memo pad to test it out for yosd designs. I ended up deciding that I wanted to keep the books for designs for my own dolls, and use the memo pads for designs for the store, because they’re like big post it notes, and I can stick them on my wall to remind me to make them. So I’ve been waiting impatienly for my mens and womens memo pads to arrive. Now I can sketch out all my ideas and stick them all over the walls!
